Statement from Brandon Peters regarding Neal Dunn and Community Health Council PAC:
“Restoring honest, ethical government in Washington and reforming our corrupt campaign finance system has been a priority for my campaign from Day One. That’s why I’m alarmed to learn that a potentially fraudulent PAC, which reportedly takes advantage of seniors and the working class, has chosen to support Neal Dunn as its only candidate expenditure so far this election cycle.
“Organizations like Community Health Council PAC divert significant funding and attention from real organizations in Florida, and across the nation. These scams hurt legitimate organizations which meaningfully advocate for breast cancer patients, survivors and their families.
“Congressman Dunn, formerly a licensed medical doctor, must immediately and thoroughly condemn the activities of this PAC, publicly request it stop making expenditures in support of his campaign, and bring legal pressure on this PAC from the U.S. Department of Justice – so it stops taking advantage of Florida seniors and other vulnerable populations to line the PAC owners’ pockets.
“If Mr. Dunn does not quickly disavow this questionably immoral conduct being undertaken in his name, the voters will remember PAC-gate in November.”
